Biography

Hu Zhiqi has been engaged in plastic, microsurgical, and aesthetic surgery for more than 20 years. He has extensive clinical experience in scar reconstruction after burns and trauma, congenital deformities, and facial and truncal aesthetic surgery, and has strong capabilities in managing complex cases in this specialty and performing microsurgical procedures. He developed a new surgical procedure involving transposition of the facial muscles, temporal fascia, and galea aponeurotica for the treatment of late-stage facial palsy.
